Deputy Secretary General: Prof. Aleš Črnič
Aleš Črnič is Professor of Study of Religions at the Faculty of Social Sciences (University of Ljubljana). His research interests focus mainly on the critical study of contemporary religious developments (religious pluralism, religious freedom, new religious movements, religion and public school, religion and politics), and also on the epistemological and methodological challenges of this practice. He published two books devoted to the study of new, alternative religious and spiritual movements, and more recently, a book on religion in public education. He lectures in the Study of Religions at all three levels of university studies and is the coordinator and supervisor of the interdisciplinary PhD program in Study of Religions at University of Ljubljana.
